Vaman Ayurveda Treatment

Vamana Ayurveda treatment is a powerful cleansing therapy that involves inducing controlled vomiting to eliminate toxins and impurities from the body. This treatment is commonly used to treat asthma, allergies, skin disorders and digestive problems caused by excess mucus and congestion.

Vaman Ayurveda Treatment – During the procedure, the patient consumes a medicated drink to induce nausea before vomiting. Treatment aims to promote healthy digestion, balance the body’s energies (doshas), and strengthen immunity. While Vamana Ayurveda treatment gives immediate results in terms of physical detoxification and rejuvenation, it can also provide long term benefits for overall health and well being

Types of Vaman

There are different types of Vamana therapy:

  • The first type is called Snehavamana, which involves consuming medicated ghee before inducing vomiting. This therapy works by lubricating the digestive tract and helping the liver to flush out toxins before they can be excreted.
  • Another type of emesis is called Dravasvamana, in which a mixture of fermented drinks or herbal decoctions is used to induce vomiting.
  • This type of therapy helps to ease the respiratory system and improves blood circulation. Finally, Raktamokshana is emesis which aims to remove impurities from the bloodstream through induced vomiting and bloodletting processes.
